I came across this quote when I was in college working on my teaching degree. It resonated with me because I have always known that I wanted to work with children. From babysitting to nannying, working in daycares, then preschools, and later schools. I taught several years in various school environments, but my favorite job was starting and acting as the Director of a preschool at our church. I loved helping with the curriculum, partnering with parents, supporting my teachers, and honestly-the preschool age is the best! My second favorite job was teaching Kindergarten. Early Childhood Education is where I have spent my career. I have four children, and when they were younger I looked for a space like this- a space where I could meet other moms, share experiences, and seek advice. For years, I have dreamt of this space to have preschool type classes-Art, Music, STEM, enrichment, story times, etc. But, I plan to take it further to offer classes for older children, adults, new moms, etc. I am so excited to offer a community space for all!
